'The FA will investigate' Thomas Tuchel after the Chelsea manager hit out at Anthony Taylor following his side's turbulent draw against Tottenham, according to the PA news agency.

Depressed Man Utd players need help, and all the fallout from Tuchel v Conte…

Both managers were cautioned for the first fight, then kicked out full-time when a nasty handshake between the two sparked further ugly scenes.

Tuchel accepted in the aftermath on Sunday that he would be subject to punishment by the FA, and now the governing body has decided to follow up with an investigation.

Kalidou Koulibaly stole Marc Cucurella's corner, before Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg fired back for Spurs.

Reece James fired home to put Chelsea ahead in the closing stages, only for Harry Kane to nod in the sixth minute of second half added time.

Tuchel lamented that both Spurs goals were allowed to stand, saying Richarlison was offside for Hojbjerg's effort and after Chelsea claimed a foul on Kai Havertz in the build-up.< /p>

The Blues were then furious that Christian Romero had not been punished for pulling Cucurella's hair, with a VAR check ruling out a red card but imposing no penalty.

Over 90,000 people have signed an online petition demanding that Taylor be barred from refereeing Chelsea again.

Chelsea fans have long been calling for a Taylor program against them, and Tuchel did not stifle those flames when he spoke after Sunday's wayward but convincing draw.

Asked if he thinks Taylor should no longer referee Chelsea, Tuchel replied on Sunday: "Maybe it would be better, maybe it would be better.

"But honestly, we also have VAR, to help make the right decisions.

"Since when can players get their hair pulled out, since when?

"And if he doesn't see it, I don't blame him; I haven't seen it.

"But we have people at VAR who check that, and then you see it. And then what?

"And how can it not be a free kick and then a red card? How?

"It doesn't even have to do with the referee in this case.

"If he doesn't see something, that's why we have people to check whether it's a decisive error or not."

Asked again about Chelsea supporters' concerns over Taylor's refereeing, Tuchel continued: "I don't think only some fans think that: I can assure you that the whole dressing room, everyone thinks that. .

"Not just the fans. You know the players, they know what's going on when they're on the pitch. They know it."

Asked if players are worried when Taylor is in charge, Tuchel added: "Yes, of course."

And when told he would most likely face a touchline ban for next weekend's Premier League trip to Leeds, Tuchel said: "So fine! I can't coach but the referee can whistle the next match."
