Fakorede wins One Young World Politician award

Oyo State Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Hon. Seun Fakorede, has become the winner of Britain's "One Young World Politician Award" of the year.

The awards ceremony held in Manchester, UK, was designed to bring together more than 2,000 of the brightest young leaders from all countries and sectors, working to accelerate social impact both in person and digitally.

Fakorede, who was the only African to win 'Politician of the Year', was described by Summit Director Megan Downey as the winner of the award who has played a vital role in helping young leaders of the future to harness the knowledge and skills needed to be effective agents of change.
