First Lady Jill Biden thanks Heckler for calling Joe 'worst president'
Dr. Jill Biden takes the hatred directed at her husband in stride - absorbing a rowdy's harsh words and redirecting them directly at him with a bit of reverse psychology.
The First Lady showed grace this week while in New Haven, Conn., one of three states she is about to visit as part of a new tour for promoting summer learning, where a guy stood on the sidewalk about 100 feet away from her letting Ms. Biden know how he felt about Joe.
Check… as Jill walked towards a building – apparently for an ice cream break in the middle of the day's event – the man shouts from afar… saying that JB is the “worst president we've ever had eu" and adding that she (and maybe Joe?) owes the American people money.
Nothing crazy, but what's crazy is that Jill heard it loud and clear...and responded. Rather than just ignore the blow, which she could have done, she returned it and thanked!
DJB says she appreciates this guy's support and keeps moving...looks like the back and forth made some of her Secret Service members laugh -- because, yeah, it is funny.
As to why she was there to begin with... it seems that Jill did exactly what she was supposed to do successfully. Of course, Joe has COVID - so it looks like his wife is stepping in a bit to shake hands and meet people in the field until he's up and running again.
