Flutterwave activates eNaira collections for businesses in Nigeria

Flutterwave, the leading payment technology company in Africa, has announced that merchants can now accept eNaira payments from their customers on their platform. This is an addition to other existing payment methods on Flutterwave, including cards, bank transfers, Flutterwave barter, etc.

eNaira is a digital currency issued and regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria as a medium of exchange and a store of value. It was launched on October 25, 2021 and is available to users with or without a bank account, as they only need to register and access the wallet through the eNaira mobile app. To transact on Flutterwave, users can either scan QR codes or generate unique tokens using the app.
