Courteney Cox decided to enjoy a day of work at Warner Bros. Studios. to surprise fans of his iconic 90s sitcom, Friends, with a particularly funny photobomb: appearing behind people posing on the orange sofa featured in the iconic opening credits sequence of the issue.

Unsurprisingly, fan reactions ranged from intense emotion - one woman seemed close to hyperventilating - to genuine excitement.

Cox—Monica Geller on the show—posted the video to Instagram on Wednesday. She briefly introduced the prank, saying, "I thought it was a good time for me to surprise Friends fans and photograph their snaps."

The video was then cut to a variety of fans posing on the orange sofa for pictures, only to discover once they looked at the results that no less than one of the show's biggest stars had just finished. 'appear in the background.
