FRSC investigates rotating license plate in viral video

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has launched an investigation into rotating license plates.

Corps Public Education Officer Bisi Kazeem announced the investigation in a statement Tuesday.

This followed a video circulating on social media that showed a vehicle with such a plate.

The SUV with plate no. KUJ-304BV had a presidency registration 01B-266FG on the reverse.

Kazeem said Acting Corps Marshal Dauda Biu ordered the arrest of the person(s) behind the act.

The spokesperson pointed out that the FRSC does not produce dual feature plates because only one number is assigned to an individual.

The commission recalled issuing a notice warning Nigerians to beware of vehicles bearing unauthorized registration plates.

“Users are not properly registered and often have sinister motives,” the statement adds.
