Gabriels: From 'heartbreaking' American Idol to 2022's most talked about band

The lead singer of the Los Angeles-based band, Gabriels, just walked off stage at Glastonbury, where a surprisingly large crowd watched their soul-soaked mid-afternoon set.
"When Beyoncé did Glastonbury years ago, she said 'GLASTONBURY, ARE YOU READY?!' And I was shouting that in my living room,” he says. "So being in Glastonbury is a bit overwhelming.
"I feel love everywhere. It's a good vibe."
Wearing a custom green and blue satin dress, the singer is high spirited, giggling as he describes the chasm between his Glastonbury gladrags and the seedy hotel he was forced to stay in.
"I went to use the soap dispenser and some sand came out ", he laughs. "We are new artists, so I guess we don't have the big budget."
If all goes according to plan, it won't last long.
