Gilbert Arenas says strength isn't an issue for Wembanyama, most NBA centers suck!

Victor Wembanyama's incredibly light build won't stop the top pick from kicking ass in Game 1, according to former NBA star Gilbert Arenas, who adamantly says today's big men are null (with a few exceptions).

"If you can get buckets, you can get buckets. It doesn't matter how strong you are," Arenas told Babcock on the TMZ Sports TV show (which airs weeknights on FS1) .< /p>

"He's only got two people in the position he's going to keep, you have [Joel Embiid] and [Nikola Jokic]. It's six games a year. It's going to be very difficult for you. that, there is no one in your place. Everyone sucks. Everyone sucks."

"You've got [Brook Lopez], undersized Al Horford, you've got [Pascal Siakam,] they're playing him at center now. You've got nobody who's really going to challenge you and your size. For the most part gone, it should be fine. It should be fine."

Of course, the nearly 7'5" French phenom, who weighs 230 pounds, was drafted with the first overall pick in last week's NBA Draft. Some people have wondered if Wemby could be effective given its current setting.

Frankly, Gilbert thinks that's crap...given the way the game plays now.
