Gucci's One-Night Gem, Oscar Buzz at Armani
PARISIAN JEWELS: Lou Doillon was easy to spot at the Ritz in Paris on Tuesday night. At the lavish dinner hosted by Gucci in honor of its Hortus Deliciarum high jewelry collection, the singer and actress topped off her pantsuit with a wide-brimmed two-tone hat visible through the crowded cocktail party.
She described her look, accessorized with cuffs and a strawberry-shaped handbag, as a mix of Elizabeth I, Jade Jagger and Rive Droite Parisian chic, with a hint of the magician.
Doillon said she was working on a new album and preparing a Paris exhibition of recent drawings, all self-portraits, but without his face.

The period costumes, she enthuses, are as dazzling as the script. “Actually, my favorite part of the costumes is the underwear. If I could only wear the corset, the long johns and the little blouse, I would. I could actually start running around the world with it” , she mused, noting that she is returning to Utah in April to begin work on the second chapter of the Western epic.
