Hadean partners with Microsoft Azure for defense and intelligence simulations

Hadean has partnered with Microsoft Azure to provide cloud-based training and simulation for defense and intelligence work in the UK.

The companies plan to provide the defense industrial base with scalable, interoperable, and secure cloud-based military training technology.

Hadean aims to integrate its "metaverse" infrastructure with Microsoft Azure to produce custom, robust solutions capable of delivering real-time data to government agencies, defense contractors, and armed forces around the world. I asked what Hadean thinks of critics who say working for defense and intelligence purposes is an unethical activity. I'll update the story if they respond.

“Microsoft is a trusted defense and intelligence partner with a proven track record of delivering secure cloud services that empower system integrators and transform capabilities to meet the demands of modern armies” , Hadean CEO Craig Beddis said in a statement. “We are excited to deepen our relationship with a new collaboration and combine our expertise to push the boundaries of what is possible with cloud computing, enhancing Microsoft Azure and its pioneering capabilities for military training and simulation.”

Hadean and Microsoft have previously worked together to build, run and deliver a cloud-based distributed simulation to the British Army's Collective Training Transformation Program (CTTP). It will be demonstrated on the set of the I/ITSEC 2022 Innovation Center on November 30 at 11:20 GMT.

“Working closely with innovative technology providers is a critical way to bring new capabilities to defense and intelligence missions,” said Gus MacGregor-Millar, managing director of global defense and intelligence at Microsoft, in a press release. “Having supported Hadean in its early years of growth through the Microsoft for Start-Ups program, we are excited to collaborate further with them to help allied defense customers realize the full potential of cloud-based training and simulation solutions. cloud and achieve mission impact through next-generation capabilities.”

Founded in 2015, Hadean aims to provide the infrastructure and computing power necessary to exploit the full potential of the metaverse. Hadean also works with Microsoft's Minecraft, Epic Games, Sony, Gamescoin, Pixelynx, CAE, BAE Systems, Thales and Francis Crick Institute.
