"Hogwarts Legacy" is postponed to February 10, 2023

Avalanche Software, developer of Hogwarts Legacy, cannot magically make their creation happen sooner. In fact, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has once again delayed the game, which at least now has a firm release date. It's coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on February 10. The Switch release date will be announced very soon, indicating that the version is facing a further delay.

"The team is thrilled you're playing, but we need a little more time to provide the best gaming experience possible," read a tweet on the Hogwarts Legacy< Twitter account. /em>. The game was announced in late 2020 with a planned release the following year. Warner Bros. pushed back Hogwarts Legacy to 2022 and later said it would arrive during this holiday season. However, this delayed the game once again.

Hogwarts Legacy is an action-RPG set in the Harry Potter universe, even though it's set long before The Boy Who Lived, well, lived. As a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, you'll brew potions, learn spells, tame wild creatures, and (ugh) attend classes. Shockingly enough, you'll have to take what you've learned and use it to fend off your enemies.
