Hollywood screenwriter Michelle Amor says that she is afraid of the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on her livelihood. "I don't want to be replaced by anything artificial".

Ms Amor and her fellow American television and film screenwriters have been on strike since early May .

One ​​of their main demands is that studios and streaming giants agree to limit the future use of writing tools powered by the AIs, such as ChatGPT.

Writers and their union - the Writers Guild of America - want it written that AI can only be used 'for research purposes, and never replace them.

"My mother's union work as a packer for 35 years was replaced by the robotics," says Ms. Amor, who currently has two TV projects in development - The Honorable and PG County.
