Being sampled by one of the biggest pop stars on the planet is the dream of many aspiring singers.

But a guest star on Ariana Grande's long-awaited latest album said she had never listened to her music when the request to use her voice came to her.

One of the 13 tracks on Eternal Sunshine, which topped the UK and US charts upon its release, is a 42-second spoken word segment titled Saturn Returns Interlude.

"Saturn comes and hits you on the head, hits you on the head, hits you on the head and says, 'Wake up.' . It's time for you to wake up to life and discover who you really are."

It is taken from a YouTube clip uploaded by Diana Garland, an astrologer who recorded the video 10 years ago.

Diana told BBC Newsbeat that she initially ignored the message asking for permission to 'use his clip.

"I'm retired now, but as you can imagine, it was like... who are these people? Because there's a lot of weird stuff happening on the internet right now," she says.
