Anyway, Episode 4 begins with the Wildcats crew rehearsing Sharpay's "Fabulous" from High School Musical 2 and preparing the return of Corbin Bleu. Just when they think Corbin has arrived, it's actually just E.J. Boy, is he in the mood. When Gina asks where Corbin is, he snaps, “I don't know. Maybe your secret night hike buddy, Ricky, knows that, huh? Gina is a better woman than me because that would have sent me to the brink. Ricky tries to ignore it, but Ashlyn recognizes the drama when she sees it.

They all want to impress Corbin with an elaborate musical number, and it's undeniably "Fabulous." Carlos sings Sharpay's part effortlessly. Ashley Tisdale will be so proud. Kourtney has her own sassy moment in the performance. Give us a Kourtney solo, HSMTMTS!

The next morning, everyone prepares for the first Frozen reading and the actual arrival of Corbin. E.J. reached a new high. You can feel the stress in his voice. Corbin finally arrives, and Kourtney has gone to great lengths to impress the HSM alum.

Gina tells E.J. that she has been called to the office. His mother is going back to Salt Lake City! Gina and E.J. are going to be essentially neighbors for her gap year, or so Gina thinks. It turns out that E.J. received a letter from his father, who disagrees with the gap year plan and wants to send him to Caswell Success Training School in St. Louis. He won't tell Gina until he finds a way not to go. Because this plan always works.

Channing, Corbin's producer, thinks the kids are being too nice to each other. He smells of drama. "Crush those cracks and you've got gold," Channing told Corbin. With just 10 days until opening night, which is also Ricky's 18th birthday, the angst is about to skyrocket.
