I'm the next African queen of afrobeat — Belliyah

The talented Nigerian singer, Ebele Precious Chukwuemeka, better known as Belliyah, has described herself as the next queen of Afrobeat music.

The sensational singer and charming on-air personality (OAP), who started singing in the church choir as a young girl.

With incredible vocal strength and tonal ability, Belliyahs voice has been synonymous with a deep yet soothing feeling as her voice strikes the minds of her listeners.

Born into a family with an emphasis on formal education, Belliyah devoted herself to her academics, studying early childhood education and economics.

Music for her at the time was just a husband because there was no support to push her. However, over time, she became totally invested in music.

In 2017, she emerged with her debut single titled “Je Je” which was produced by Nigerian music producer Dekumzy – the song was a modest hit but didn’t do much for her music career . And from there, she went into radio as an on-air personality.

There was still something missing, it was his wire to make music. Soon she was discovered by Tuffgig Music Empire boss Hardy Jimbaz for her striking musical talent and daring.

Dubbed the first daughter of Tuffgigs, she was taken in by the Tuffgig "family", groomed, and given the platform to show her talent to the world.

The rising star has continued to be a major performer under the Tuffgig music empire and shows no signs of letting up.

With her current single "Nobody" currently dominating airplay and also giving her the level of recognition she needs to reach mainstream audiences, the singer says she is poised to bring Afrobeat to another level and all over Africa.
