According to the company's CEO, Stephen Hess, the collapse of crypto exchange FTX indirectly impacted their business. For this reason, the company is taking a "more conservative approach" as it moves forward.

Hess also pointed out that Metaplex is the base layer of the Solana NFT ecosystem. The NFT executive mentioned that it was their responsibility to ensure the sustainability of the protocol for their community.

NFT Enjin platform executive Oscar Franklin Tan says the space will stabilize and consolidate around the strongest communities. By then, space will see a second generation of "smarter and more durable NFT models".
