Injured dessers uncertain for Super Eagles friendlies
Cremonese forward, Cyriel Dessers is a major doubt for Nigeria's upcoming international friendlies against Costa Rica and Portugal.
Dessers left the pitch in tears after being sent off in Cremonese's goalless draw against Udinese through injury last weekend.
The striker was replaced by Cristian Buonaiuto early in the game following the setback.
While the extent of the injury is unknown at this time, Dessers, who appeared to be seriously unwell, could be left out of the Super Eagles squad for friendlies.
The Super Eagles will face Costa Rica in their first friendly match on November 10.
The second friendly match against Portugal is scheduled for Lisbon on November 17.
Head coach Jose Peseiro is expected to publish his list for the two friendlies this week.
