Satanic Interim Government, Unconstitutional, Igbos Will Support Tinubu Swearing In – Ohanaeze

Amid calls for an interim government, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the umbrella Igbo socio-cultural organization, pledged Monday to support elected president Bola Tinubu.

Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the general secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has declared that the call for an interim government is satanic and unconstitutional.

Isiguzoro urged the Department of State Services, DSS, to arrest those behind the call for an interim government.

Speaking to DAILY POST, Isiguzoro said the Igbo socio-political organization would never be part of such evil in Nigeria.

According to Isiguzoro: "Ndigbo will never be part of any interim government; the DSS should arrest those behind the scenes who are plotting to have an interim government.

"Ohanaeze challenges the DSS to arrest those who are the supporters of the interim government to ensure that unpatriotic elements of doom do not derail our democracy with the evil intent of blocking Buhari's smooth transition of power in Tinubu.

“Ndigbo will not recognize any interim government or be part of any evil plan and will not call for an interim government. The clamor for an interim government is unconstitutional, satanic and demonic; into an unavoidable crisis and to make Ndigbo a scapegoat, as in 1993.

“Ndigbo will attend all inauguration and swearing-in ceremonies for President-elect Bola Tinubu. We warn those working behind the scenes of an illegitimate government to use the court to air their grievances.

"We are pleased that Atiku and Peter Obi have exploited legal options in order to reclaim their legal mandate. We will not allow unpatriotic mortals to truncate Nigeria's hard-won democracy.

"Ndigbo condemns in words and letters the call for the establishment of an interim government and insists that the elected president be sworn in by May 29, 2023."

Lamenting that the Igbos have become an endangered species, Isiguzoro said the Igbos will not allow themselves to be used as sacrificial lambs.

He noted that those plotting for an interim government have set the stage by systemically burning down Igbo properties.

Isiguzoro added, "Ndigbos are an endangered species in Nigeria, and the Igbos will never again be used as a sacrificial lamb as they were in 1993 during the Abiola saga, where many Igbos were killed, intimidated and mutilated.

“Supporters of the interim government are already setting the stage with the systematic burning of Igbo populated markets in Lagos, the home of the president-elect. elected.

"These are capsules that can never resist the agenda. The Igbo are wiser and more sophisticated now than they were in 1993.

"We will continue to support the president-elect and ask him to begin the healing process from the Southeast."
