Jeremy Lloyds: Former versatile and international referee dies aged 68
Lloyds played 162 games for Somerset before moving to neighbors in 1986, spending six years at Bristol. p>
He joined the first class referee list in 1998 and appeared in five Tests, 18 ODIs and one England v Australia T20 match in 2005.
A statement from Somerset said they were "deeply saddened" by his death.
His last senior game as a referee was between Birmingham Bears and Northants Steelbacks at the T20 Blast in Edgbaston in September 2020.
A week earlier he was playing in the Somerset game against Gloucestershire in Taunton and was cheered in the middle by both teams.
He scored over 10,600 first-class runs during his game care uh, including 10 centuries, and took 333 counters, with best numbers from 7 to 88.
