Joey Bada$$ is juggling a new album, touring, and acting...while defending some of his creative decisions...like working with Chris Brown.
Rap star Pro Era hopped on “TMZ Live” Thursday to explain why he felt the need to keep angry fans away, he grabbed Breezy to help him sing the hook on his track” Welcome Back" on the new album " 2000."
As Joey told us... no man is without mistakes, and while he doesn't condone what happened with Rihanna, he considers it an honor to work with CB , which he has been a fan of since childhood.
The New York-born lyricist also says he gets it, though...his fans are just protective and want him to be safe from controversy at all times.
Controversy came to Joey's first-class seat last week, however, when he accused Delta Airlines of damaging some of his irreplaceable stage gear while traveling for his summer tour 1999-2000.
Although the damage was done, Joey says Delta reps reached out and helped cover the rental costs so he could complete his tour...which ends Thursday night in Los Angeles .
