Judge orders BBC to release emails linked to Martin Bashir

A judge strongly criticized the BBC for failing to publish a large number of emails relating to the scandal of Martin Bashir's 1995 interview with Princess Diana on Panorama.
The documents were requested by a journalist, who was investigating what the company's management knew and what had been done with regard to the journalist. Bashir officially resigned from his position at the BBC in 2021. that he obtained the interview through deception and falsification of documents.
