JUST IN: Nasarawa Police Arrest Fugitive Boko Haram Suspect

Following the recent attack on Kuje Maximum Detention Center, Abuja, and the subsequent escape of detainees, the Nasarawa State Police Command said it had arrested a Mr. Hassan Hassan , whose name and photo were among the escaped detainees with Boko Haram/Terrorism Cases, in Keffi Local Government Area of the State.
Police Public Relations Officer DSP Ramhan Nansel made the revelation in a press release made available to Lafia reporters on Saturday.
He said, "The fugitive Boko Haram suspect was picked up by the eagle-eyed police officers from the state's Keffi LGA Command.
"Police Commissioner, CP Adesina Soyemi, has ordered the transfer of the suspect to a safer location while the intensive search for other escapees and the process of handing over the arrested detainee progresses.
"CP Soyemi appreciates the efforts of the command's police officers for a job well done and assures members of the public of the command's relentless efforts to make public spaces safer for all."
