Kanye West has lost friends, business and billions of dollars to his hatred, and now he can add to his woes the loss of an honorary college degree...because the School of Art Institute of Chicago took it away.< /p>
According to a letter from the school, obtained by TMZ, the bigwigs decided to rescind Ye's degree, stating, "His anti-Black, anti-Semitic, and inflammatory statements, especially those directed against Black and Jews, are disgusting and condemnable".< /p>
The letter, written by President Elissa Tenny, continues: "As a community, we know that there are differing opinions about what our school's response should be, even though we all agree that its behavior is indefensible."

The disgraced rapper was awarded an honorary doctorate in 2015 for his accomplishments and contributions to art and culture, but Tenny notes that "his actions do not align with SAIC's mission and values."< /p>
