Kevin Costner's wife is ending their marriage...we learned she just filed for divorce.
The actor's wife, Christine Costner, filed on Monday to end their 18-year marriage. It is unclear what led to the split. Christine cited the usual "irreconcilable differences".

Kevin's rep told TMZ, "It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have occurred that have required Mr. Costner to participate in a marriage dissolution action." The rep continued..."We ask that his privacy, that of Christine, and that of their children be respected as they go through this difficult time."

The 'Yellowstone' star and his ex-wife share 3 children, ages 12, 14 and 15.
We learned that Christine was asking for joint custody of the children. Kevin filed his response on Tuesday, in which he also requests joint custody.
