Kylian Mbappe drills World Cup fan over stray warm-up shot and apologizes
Despite advancing to the World Cup final, it didn't all go well for Kylian Mbappe on Wednesday - the French superstar accidentally hit a fan in the face with a warm-up shot...and presented an apology immediately afterwards.
The incident happened just before France beat Morocco in one of the tournament's semi-finals...as the 23-year-old phenom tried to free himself for the significant tilt.< /p>
Mbappe peppered one of his shots over the goal frame - and that, unfortunately, nailed a French supporter right in the noggin.

Photos from the stadium in Qatar showed the lad in severe pain... but, to Mbappe's credit, he ran to make sure the lad was okay.
He grabbed the man's arm and seemed to say he was sorry, before resuming the warm-up.

Of course, we're sure the fan felt much better a few minutes later, as France opened the game against Morocco with a goal within the first 300 seconds of the match.
France won 2-0 and will face Argentina in Sunday's final.
