Lagos will be under PDP rule in 2023, says Atiku Abubakar



People's Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has reiterated his commitment to see his birthday celebration take over in Lagos State, by 2023.

Atiku said this on Tuesday at a rally organized for him with the help of 100 volunteer groups in Ikeja, Lagos, saying the birthday party can achieve this goal more effectively if its contributors are united, while urging that they put aside their differences and work towards the common goal of making elections prevail in the 2023 general election.

Aid Societies consist of Grassroots Ambassadors, Arewa for Atiku, Atiku Progressives Forum, Atiku Unifying Projects, Face of Waziri, South-West Youths Vanguard, Concerned Youths Initiatives for Atiku, Omolere for Atiku, among others .

The rally was attended by leaders including the party's gubernatorial candidate in the state, Dr. Abdulazeez Olajide Adediran aka Jandor; Chairman of the Presidential Campaign Committee in Lagos, Engr. Deji Doherty; Lagos PDP President Philip Aivoji; all the other birthday party contestants in the state, among others.

Atiku, whose speech was added by Lagos State PDP gubernatorial candidate Jandor, urged party contributors to quit the campaign en masse for the birthday party, saying that the presidential election that will take place on February 25, 2023, as well as the National Assembly poll should be curious about anything serious.

According to him, "Once the anniversary celebration wins the election, the gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections to be held on March 11, 2023 could be much less complicated.

"In 2023, we would do anything to win Lagos, but let me thank you, because you are competing neck and neck in Lagos despite the fact that we are having the anniversary of power celebration in the state, and its presidential candidate is also from here,” he said.

Addressing the gathering, Engr. Jide Adeniji, former President of FERMA, expressed his pride in the event, urging all assistance companies to collaborate and work together, to move forward, while ensuring that "we will win together" the general elections from 2023.

The birthday party leader said it was time to stop what he said was the stagnation that Lagos State had witnessed under APC rule for more than 29 years since the beginning of modern democratic rule, adding, "I must assure you that Jardor could train the following authorities in Lagos in 2023."

Hon. Oladimeji Fabiyi, a member of the PDP presidential campaign, in his comment, claimed that Alhaji Atiku, the presidential candidate of the anniversary celebration, had become determined to save the United States from a, saying that the former Vice President of Nigeria had become a qualified person.

“Atiku Abubakar comes to save Nigeria, improve Nigeria, stabilize the country from lack of confidence, restore the exchange rate, among others.

"Atiku has done it before, he's going to get Lagos back, he's a unifier," he said.

Fabiyi defined Lagos State as particular in the upcoming poll, active and winnable, urging contributors and party loyalists not to let everyone bully them, but to vote at some point for the PDP.

Chairman of Voluntary Organizations Chief Nurudeen Olokowo said Nigerians are waiting for the Atiku rescue program so that life can have meaning for them.

Olokowo said that the demonstration of great help during the collection showed that "our products are salable, healthy and pragmatic".

"Our product is capable of solving the many demanding situations that cross our dear country, so day to day," he said.

Olokowo defined supporting businesses as Atiku's strength, urging him to gently paint with them for victory in the upcoming popular US elections.
