 Antony celebrates his goal

Marcus Rashford scored twice in stoppage time as Man Utd reached the Carabao Cup semi-finals with a 3-0 win over League One Charlton.

Lisandro Martinez returned to the Red Devils XI in a very different squad for the quarter-final clash.

Martinez has made two substitute appearances since winning the World Cup with Argentina, but was named in defense alongside Harry Maguire.

Tom Heaton started in goal while there was a debut for 17-year-old midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.

Charlton, who are 12th in League One, were able to bring in goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer who was out this weekend due to concussion protocols.

United's early dominance was rewarded in the 21st minute when Antony scored a fine goal.

The ball was worked from left to right, where the Brazilian cut inside and curled a 20-yard shot into the top corner.

United had a chance to score a second but Fred's 30-yard free-kick crashed into a post as it was 1-0 at half-time.

United killed the game to the death when Marcus Rashford scored for the sixth consecutive game.

And two minutes later, Rashford got his second and his team's third.
