Marjorie Taylor Greene suspected of auditioning for 'American Idol'

Marjorie Taylor Greene has a lot of people thinking she might have flexed her pipes on "American Idol" once upon a time - based on a now viral video - but the speculation is wrong.

The Georgia representative is being talked about on Twitter right now, but not for the usual political reasons. This time it's an old "Idol" clip from Season 1 doing the rounds...showing an exuberant woman auditioning in front of Simon, Paula and Randy.

The lady's name is listed as Stefanie Sugarman, who told show producers at the time (2002) that she was 23 years old and originally from Alta Loma, California (area of Rancho Cucamonga). His essay certainly left an impression on the audience and the judges...not necessarily in a good way either.

SS was eliminated after singing "Knockin' Da Boots" and some colorful commentary. Like we said, she's feisty, but more importantly, she's also an MTG lookalike.

That's certainly what Twitter thinks, anyway, with lots of jumping around and suggesting it's actually Rep. Greene performing under a stage name. We'll admit they look incredibly alike...and they're both pretty outspoken, it seems. The thing is, Stefanie Sugarman is real!

We looked for her, and public records show that there is in fact a Stefanie Sugarman with roots in Rancho/Alta Loma and San Bernardino County at large. She appears to have since married - under a different last name - and her age matches as well. She is now 43 years old.
