Matt Hancock was challenged by his fellow campers during his first appearance on the reality series I Am A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The TV host 'ITV News' Charlene White asked the MP if he could understand if people were 'not very happy' about her taking part while Parliament was sitting.

Boy George said it was "difficult" to have him there after his mother was hospitalized during the pandemic.< /p>

Hancock said he was on the show to raise awareness about dyslexia.

Before entering the camp in Australia, the former health secretary faces a d praised by critics for his decision to enter the jungle while he was an MP.

Hancock had the Tory whip suspended after news broke that he would be on the show. The reaction sparked speculation about the reception he would receive from his fellow campers and how he would react.

In his first full episode, which aired Wednesday, Hancock took a calm and assured approach to his first Bushtucker trial, alongside the trickier Seann Walsh.
