Chairman of the association, Mr Benjamin Nnanna made the remarks during the swearing in of the newly elected exco members of the association, in Ekwulobia, Anambra State , Tuesday.

The body had elected and sworn in the new members after approximately 35 years of the association's leadership crisis.

Nnanna reiterated his will to strengthen the existing cordial relationship between the state government and other professionals in the medical profession, with a view to creating an enabling environment to improve the efficiency of the health care delivery.

Flanked by other newly sworn executive members of the association, however, Nnanna pledged to erect a state secretariat worthy of the association within three years.
