Michael Jackson will actually be tried for allegedly assaulting choreographer Wade Robson when he was a child... TMZ has learned.
The California Court of Appeals just cleared the way for Robson to plead his case, alleging that MJ assaulted him at Neverland Ranch when Robson was between the ages of 7 and 14.

The issue -- Robson sues Michael Jackson's company -- MJJ Productions, Inc. Lawyers for Jackson's company argued that the company had no legal duty to protect Robson or anyone else from MJ because that she had no ability to control him.
The trial court accepted the estate's argument, but the Court of Appeal begged to defer, and according to an interim decision - which almost always becomes final - the case will be sent back for trial.
