Tributes to the late Vin Scully will continue all day Wednesday - TMZ Sports has learned that MLB is asking all of its teams to participate in league-wide moments of silence throughout its roster. afternoon and evening matches.

Our MLB sources say memorial moments for Vin, who sadly passed away on Tuesday at the age of 94, will take place before each game played on Wednesday.

The first should take place in a few minutes, before the Blue Jays face the Rays in Florida. The latest, fittingly, is expected to fall just before the time the Dodgers take on the Giants at around 6:45 p.m. PT in San Francisco.

Of course, the tributes certainly won't stop there, as people have been paying their respects to the legendary sportscaster since news broke of his death on Tuesday night.

Dodgers fans have created a makeshift memorial for Scully at Dodger Stadium. Athletes and celebrities around the world remember the iconic storyteller on their social media pages.

Scully started calling plays in 1950 and didn't stop until his retirement in 2016. He is perhaps considered the greatest baseball broadcaster of all time.
