Cointelegraph Research's latest survey of 84 professional investors around the world found that of the $316 billion in assets under management by respondents, 3.3%, or approximately $10.42 billion, are invested in cryptocurrencies. Some investors surveyed said they were exposed to more than 50% digital assets, but the median percentage of respondents invested in cryptocurrencies is around 3%.

Risk/reward was the primary consideration when investing in crypto, as 44% of respondents rated this feature as “very important.” Other factors rated relatively less important were "diversification" and "my company believes technology will be important in the future".
