MTN to pay shareholders an interim dividend of N114 billion
Telecommunications company MTN Nigeria will reward its shareholders with an interim dividend of N113. 98 billion, or 5.60 kobo naira for every 2 ordinary shares of kobo, the company said in its report on Wednesday.

The company has announced a final dividend of N8.57 per share, or N174.4 billion, in 2021.
It announced an interim dividend of N4.55 in July 2021, raising its annual dividend per share to N13.12.
He said the proposed new dividend is subject to an appropriate withholding tax deduction and will be paid to shareholders whose names appear on the register of members before the close of business on August 18.
