The company has announced a final dividend of N8.57 per share, or N174.4 billion, in 2021.

It announced an interim dividend of N4.55 in July 2021, raising its annual dividend per share to N13.12.

He said the proposed new dividend is subject to an appropriate withholding tax deduction and will be paid to shareholders whose names appear on the register of members before the close of business on August 18.

Dividends will be paid electronically to shareholders on August 26.

He advised shareholders who have not yet completed electronic dividend registration to download the completed Registrars Electronic Dividend Mandate Activation Form and submit it to the Registrar or their respective banks.

"Shareholders with unclaimed dividends are urged to complete the electronic dividend record or contact the Registrar," he said.
