NDLEA agents apprehend two Pakistani and Nigerian businessmen for drug trafficking

Agents from the National Drug Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, arrested two Pakistani businessmen and two Nigerians on Sunday for drug trafficking.

The agency, in a statement posted on Facebook and signed by Director, Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, explained that Asif Muhammed and Hussain Naveed, the Pakistani men, were apprehended at Murtala Muhammed International Airport of Lagos, with eight kilograms of cocaine concealed in a public address system as they attempted to board a plane.

He explained: "Nigerians, on the other hand, a blind man, Bukar Haruna, and his son Saka Haruna, were arrested along the Malumfashi-Zaria road in Katsina State for possession of 20.5 kg of cannabis and 10 grams of exon-5 while on his way to the Republic of Niger.”
