A new video shows Jeremy Renner's helicopter flight to a hospital shortly after his horrific snowplow accident, and TMZ has learned new details about his injuries that caused him to lose a significant amount of blood.
The video, obtained by TMZ, begins just after the two-time Oscar nominee was loaded onto the helicopter around 9:50 a.m. Sunday. Eyewitnesses tell us that Jeremy was clearing the road about a quarter mile from his home in Tahoe so his family could get out after a huge storm on New Year's Eve.
According to a neighbour, the plowing machine - called Snowcat - accidentally rolled over one of Jeremy's legs, and he was losing a lot of blood from the injury. We are told that another neighbour, who is a doctor, was able to put a tourniquet on his leg until the paramedics arrived.
We are told the area was treated as an active crime scene...with police arriving at 8pm to seize the Snowcat, which Jeremy has already posted a video of himself using on his property after snow storms. The problem, we're told, is that the machine has extensive security features and shouldn't have knocked Jeremy over.
As we reported, Jeremy is in "critical but stable condition with injuries sustained after suffering a weather-related accident while plowing snow"...according to a rep.
