Nigerian Breweries Plc empowers 472 youths and women across six sites

Nigerian Breweries Plc, Nigeria's largest brewing company, has provided skills training to 472 youths and women at 6 locations in Nigeria. Recipients were recently welcomed at simultaneous graduation ceremonies across the country in Lagos, Abuja, Ota (Ogun), Kaduna, Ama (Enugu) and Awo-Omamma (Imo).

For this year's edition of the program skills training, beneficiaries were trained in a wide range of skill areas including; Fishing, bead making, wig making, cosmetology, hairdressing, solar panel installation, cell phone repairs, hairdressing, fashion design, marketing, block molding, among others.

In his message to the graduates at the various ceremonies, the Director General, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Hans Essaadi noted that the initiative is a continuation of the company's commitment to its business philosophy of winning with Nigeria as it seeks to support young people and women in their journey to entrepreneurship, job creation and financial independence.

Congratulating all graduates from all locations, Essaadi urged recipients to maximize what they have learned by using it wisely. According to him, all beneficiaries will also receive start-up tools to support them in their entrepreneurial journey.
