According to him, it is important for every civil servant and civil servant to belong to a cooperative society for reasons of old age or retirement, amidst the socio-economic challenges the country is currently facing.

"We have about 140 employees in the NPC Anambra office under my supervision and the majority of our employees have built their houses, acquired land properties all over the state, especially in Mbaukwu in the area of Awka North local government of the state.

“Our contributions are deducted at source by IPPIS and the intended purpose is to support NPC staff through loans which we normally provide at intervals of 6 months, 1 year and maximum 2 years And many of our employees have built houses and solved their personal problems. To be honest, without the Cooperative, many of our employees could not have achieved what they have individually and collectively achieved now.

“You know, the salary of the NPC staff is not that high, but thanks to the Cooperative, we can accomplish a lot. Many of our employees who have retired use co-op money as a soft landing, why wait for their government retirement benefits.
