NPC trains 99 staff for population count in Osun

In preparation for the start of the country's population count exercise, the Osun State National Population Commission (NPC) said it had trained ninety-nine staff members on how to use digitized equipment for program success in the state.

State NPC Commissioner, Senator Mudashiru Hussein, who made it known during a press conference in Osogbo on Friday, disclosed that the commission has implemented the training program for exposing the trainees to digitized computerized gadgets that would enhance the counting exercise. the time is coming.

He explained that the newly trained staff were well grounded in the analog knowledge of conducting head counting exercises in the past before today, receiving intensive training in modern digitization that would make activities faster and more accurate.

Senator Mudashiru further hinted that apart from training, other equipment to be used is in the field and will be made available for exercise at the appropriate time.

He, however, sought the cooperation of locals and residents of the state to make realistic efforts saying that without their cooperation, things might not go as planned.
