One-Day Cup: Warwickshire skipper Will Rhodes hits his first one-day ton as Bears beat Notts

Warwickshire skipper Will Rhodes hit five sixes in his first A-list ton, beating his previous record of 76 for the Bears

With only two games to play for the majority of teams ahead of Tuesday's final qualifying round, Leicestershire lead Group A - but six other teams can still qualify.

In Group B, 100% of Hampshire look nailed, with 10 points.

But Lancashire, Essex and Yorkshire are leading the charge to join them.

Although Yorkshire lost to Essex, second-placed Lancashire swept Glamorgan, who suffered their fourth successive loss - a loss that means the defending champions' chances of defending the title they won there a year ago this week are now gone.

In Group A, with best two Leicestershire and Sussex both winning, the Bears defied rain in Birmingham to enter Friday's g meeting with Middlesex at Radlett just one point behind their opponents, to set up a game that neither side can seemingly afford to lose.

"The victory keeps us in the mix," Rhodes told BBC Radio WM. "Now we're going to Radlett, which is another ground for the boys.

"There was high scores there and Middlesex have a very strong team."

Group A - Foxes en route to semi-final at home

Leicestershire beat Gloucestershire by four wickets at Bristol for a third straight win, keeping them top of the group and on course for a home semi-final.

Louis Kimber won a career-best 4-61 as the hosts were held to 262-9 despite Marcus Harris' half-centuries (58) and Jack Taylor (50).

Kimber then hit 68 of 70 balls, expertly backed up by skipper Lewis Hill (82) and Wiaan Mulder (56 not out) as the Foxes reached 263-6 to win with four overs to spare.

"We are in a very good position with a few games to play "said Leicestershire skipper Lewis Hill. "It feels good to win and it looks like we have a new spinner in Louis Kimber who is turning into a very good acquisition for us."

Gloucestershire now need to win their final two games against Surrey and Middlesex this weekend and will be hoping for more results to follow if they are to have any chance of progressing for the round of 16.
