OneFour: Australian police foil alleged plot to kill members of rap group

Australian police charge two men for an alleged plot to kill four members of the rap group OneFour.

The men, named in media reports as Brandon Maseuli and Yousef Rima, are part of a international criminal syndicate born in Lebanon.

Police said the group accepted contracts to commit violent crimes such as murders and kidnappings.

Arrested Thursday in Sydney, Maseuli, 26, and Rima, 20, face several charges.

They include conspiracy to commit murder, kidnapping, leading a criminal group, and various drug and theft-related offenses.

Authorities also requested an arrest warrant for a 22-year-old man believed to be abroad.

Police said Maseuli and Rima conspired to murder "four high-profile men from northwest Sydney on behalf of another network".
