Ooni's wedding season

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, is undoubtedly in a season of family expansion as he has added a new wife, Ashley Adegoke, who is his fourth, to his harem. October 14, 2022.< /p>

In viral videos online, the new Olori (Queen) was seen wearing traditional white bridal attire at a royal wedding attended by traditional rulers, family members and sympathizers of the couple.

It will be recalled that in September, the king announced in a press release that he had married Mariam Anako. This was after his failed marriage to Naomi Silekunola, who is a prophetess, in December 2021.

Soon after marrying Anako, who is a native of Kogi State, the monarch married Elizabeth Akinmudai in Magodo, Lagos. Subsequently, he took Tobiloba Philips as his wife on October 9, 2022. The ceremony was conducted by the traditional rulers. Philips is Ooni's third wife.

Before his marriage to Silekunola, the Ooni had been married two other times. He got married to Zynab Otiti in 2016 in Benin City, Edo State. However, the king and Otiti separated a year after the celebration of the union.

In 2008, before becoming king, he married his first wife, Adebukola Bambota. They separated a few years later.

No one knows if the Ooni is finished but adding to the number of his wives as there are rumors that he is due to marry his fifth and sixth wives soon.
