Osun APC Acting Chairman Mourns Ex-Commissioner Idowu Korede's Death
Acting President of Osun State All Progressives Congress, APC Sooko Tajudeen Lawal described the death of Hon. Idowu Korede, former State Environment Commissioner Osun, as shocking and tragic.
This was contained in a statement issued yesterday by Chief Kola Olabisi, Media Director of Osun State APC, Osogbo. Lawal lamented that the sudden death of the APC leader, who hailed from the Ilesa West local government area of the state, was one death too many.
He further described Korede as a renowned progressive politician who contributed his quota to the development of the state.
He confessed that history will not forget the deceased as an enigmatic political figure who played a leading role in the struggle to emancipate Osun State from the clutches of reactionary elements between 2007 and 2010 .
