Pete Davidson hopes to become a father one day and he's candid about what it might look like for him. In the trailer for the "Saturday Night Live" alum's "Hart to Heart" episode, hosted by Kevin Hart, Davidson talks about his childhood and the support of his family while getting his acting career off the ground. As a self-proclaimed "family guy", Davidson reveals his aspiration to start his own family in the future.

"I'm so excited for this chapter."

"My favorite thing, which I haven't realized yet, is that I want to have a child. It's like my dream," he told Hart. "It's super cheesy...but it would be so much fun to dress a little guy...I'm so excited for this chapter. That's what I'm gearing up for now."

Davidson, who lost his father as a child in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, was raised by his mother Amy Waters Davidson, alongside his younger sister Casey. Although he doesn't yet have children, the comedian appears to be working out with his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, as he has a good relationship with his children, Entertainment Tonight reported in June.

A source told the outlet that Kardashian waited to introduce her boyfriend to her kids because "she wasn't sure if the relationship was fun or serious." However, after consulting with her family on how to handle the situation following ex-Kanye West's protests, she made sure they all got to know each other. "The kids and Pete get along really well and Kim seeing him so well with them has only made her fall even more in love with Pete," the source added.

We might learn more about Davidson's relationship with the Kardashian kids now that he's confirmed to appear on her Hulu reality show in the fall. It's unclear which episode or how many episodes it will feature in, but "The Kardashians" returns for its second season on September 22. Davidson's episode of "Hart to Heart" will be available to stream on Peacock on July 14.
