Phishing risks rise as Celsius confirms leaked customer emails

On July 26, Celsius sent an email to its customers notifying them that a list of their emails had been leaked by an employee of one of its email and data management providers. company.
According to Celsius, the breach originated from an engineer of the Customer.io messaging platform who leaked the data to a third party bad actor.
"We were recently made aware by our provider Customer.io that one of their employees had accessed a list of Celsius customer email addresses," Celsius said in its email to customers. The data breach is part of the same incursion that leaked OpenSea customer email addresses in June.
