Pictorial: Atiku arrives in the UK to meet the British government

People's Democratic Party presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has arrived in the UK alongside party stalwarts for a meeting scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday with the UK government.

The PUNCH had earlier reported that Atiku media adviser Mazi Paul Ibe announced his trip to the UK in a tweet on Sunday, adding that it was at the invitation of the UK government.

While discrediting an online report that he had been flown to the UK for a medical examination, his campaign spokesman, Senator Dino Melaye, urged Nigerians to “ignore the lies of unrepentant liars.

“Atiku is 100% fit and super fit health-wise. early,” he added.

In the photos that have emerged, he was greeted by Melaye, Timi Frank and other members of the PDP.
