Police asked to investigate leaked photos of Blackpink

South Korean police have been asked to investigate how private photos of K-pop star Jennie Kim ended up online.

This comes after photos shared on Twitter and Telegram appeared to show the Blackpink star dining with K-pop band BTS V.

Rumors have swirled that the singers are dating.

Blackpink's management company YG Entertainment says Jennie was the victim of "attacks personal information" and "sexual harassment" following the leak.

In a statement, he said he had asked police to investigate on "the original distributor" of the photos and that he would take "every possible legal action without any leniency to avoid further damage in the future".< p class="ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph eq5iqo00">He added: "The photos circulating online have been published illegally, regardless of the intention behind them and without the consent of the person concerned."

YG also asked fans to refrain from sharing the images more widely.

Two of the accounts associated with sharing the photographs have been suspended.

While YG has Unconfirmed which images he is referring to, several images have spread online which apparently show Jennie and V (real name Kim Tae-hyung) having dinner together.
