Polystruder is the latest attempt to bring filament production home, so you can make your own and even possibly recycle some of those failings.
We have seen many attempts at home filament production over the years, ranging from simple DIY systems to complete industrial units. The Polystruder seems to be somewhat of a middle ground. Unfortunately, final pricing and availability is yet to be determined, but their FAQ says they're hoping to land between $3,000 and $4,000.
