Presidential debate: Okowa shows that PDP is on track to win back Nigeria – Momodu

Director of Strategic Communications of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Dele Momodu, said the exit of the party's vice-presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa, at a town hall meeting on Sunday showed that the party is on track to reclaim Nigeria.

Mr. Momodu claimed the exit was presidential because Mr. Okowa outplayed other speakers.

Mr. Okowa represented the party's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, at the public meeting to engage with citizens.

The event was organized by the Center for Democracy and Development and Arise Television. This is the first in a series of meetings and the Sunday event focusing on safety and the economy.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, did not participate, nor did he send his running mate, Kashim Shettima, to represent him.

Mr. Momodu said Mr. Okowa demonstrated excellent knowledge of the Atiku/Okowa programs and rolled them out while offering strategic answers to questions posed to him by panelists.
