The PSC took the decision during its 17th Plenary Session which ended in Abuja on Friday, November 11, 2022 and was chaired by its Acting President, Justice Clara Ogunbiyi.

The Commission also approved the conversion of 301 ICT professionals to general service.

He previously approved the special promotion of CSP Daniel Amah to the next rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police for his exemplary conduct in rejecting a $200,000,000 bribe in the line of duty as an officer Divisional Police in Bompai Kano State. .

Amah also received the Honesty and Integrity Service Award and a cash donation of 1 million Naira.

The plenary also approved the promotion of 48 Commission staff.
